About this site

The money guide I wish I'd had.

When I started learning about money and investing, the information was everywhere. One article explained ETFs. Another covered budgeting. Then there was super, interest rates, fees and everything else.

None of it was impossible to learn. I just wished somebody had put the important bits in one place and explained them properly.

So that's what I'm trying to do here.

Made to share

I wanted something I could send to my girlfriend, my cousin or a mate who's just starting out. Somewhere they could learn how to handle payday, keep money aside for bills, build savings and understand what they're buying before they invest.

These are the topics I think are worth learning first. You can start with the short lessons, try the calculators or read the longer guides. There's no course to buy and no need to sign up.

My own research. No paid recommendations.

I don't work for any of the banks, brokers or investment providers mentioned on this site. No company has paid me to include it, and I don't have any paid sponsorships or referral agreements.

I've brought together information from public sources and linked to providers' own terms where I can. Products, rates and fees change, so please check the latest details for yourself. If anything looks wrong, let me know.

One thing to be clear about

I'm sharing educational information, not telling you what to buy. Your money, goals and circumstances are your own, and investments can lose value.
